Watchmaking Ergonomics

Watchmaking Ergonomics

Making watches and fine jewelry can be very painful: back, neck, shoulder and elbow pain are common among watchmakers and jewelers. Olivier and his team have developed an advanced understanding of these precision trades, to help you practice your craft while protecting your body.

A genuine revelation…

This is how Swiss watchmakers describe Olivier and his team’s approach to posture and ergonomics.

Olivier and his team were selected by the Swiss Watchmaking Industry Employers’ Convention as exclusive ergonomics experts. For this partnership, they developed a dedicated course, split into two half-day modules (E10, E20).

For watchmaking and jewelry, the most common requests are:

  • how to adjust a watchmaker’s or jeweler’s workstation
  • how to design a suitable workbench
  • how to support the return to work of employees affected in their health, where relevant in connection with social insurance providers

Olivier and his team support you in protecting your staff and preserving your traditional craftsmanship.

When I got home from your class, it was the first time in 10 years that I wasn't in pain. I finally got some sleep and rest!
