Procurement Advice

Procurement Advice

How much money are you losing on uncomfortable chairs or electric desks that don't go low enough? Or on production equipment bought without consulting users? Savings are possible, with advice from field ergonomists.

Marketing or truth?

The word “ergonomic” sells. Office supply catalogs are often full of praise when it comes to office chairs, mice, footrests and other accessories. But watch out for bad deals and false good ideas.

Whatever your profession (administration, industry, early childhood, or other), what you buy needs to meet the needs expressed by your employees, as well as the rules of posture, physiology and anthropometry. Too often, purchases are made against common sense, for lack of accurate information.

To each their trade: Olivier and his team’s role is to guide you so you spend wisely, in a pragmatic and thoughtful way.

If you have a purchasing project, big or small, ask for advice before signing the purchase order. Ergonomics costs all the more when it comes in (too) late…

Thanks to you, we bought a height-adjustable desk, a chair, a laptop stand and a footrest... and it has made a big difference!
