Ans Samama left us

Ans Samama, Olivier’s therapist and mentor, passed away on April 2nd 2023. She was and will remain forever “the grandmother of Erg’OH Conseil”.

After devoting her life to treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) and other neuromuscular pathologies, she took Olivier under her wing in 2006, at the age of 82, to patiently teach him how the human body works, first on itself.

Together, they conducted the doctoral thesis project Presto (Prevention study on physical complaints in conservatory students) with the University of Maastricht to better understand to what extent the Mensendieck method could help preserve the health of young musicians.

The Posture Manual is dedicated to her, in appreciation of her expertise and generosity.

Ans is leaving us but she will be with us at all times, in your offices, in your workshops and in your factories. Her legacy is eternal, and we will never forget what we owe to this great lady.

Her trust has honored us, and her memory obliges us.
