It is also called the grip zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All engineers and designers need to have a firm grasp of this concept, which we describe in detail in <a href=\"https:\/\/oliviergirard.ch\/en\/solution\/workplace-design\/\">our ergonomic design course<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This comfort zone should contain all the objects you use continuously or frequently in your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The geometry of the comfort zone is derived from the application of Posture Rule #2, described by Olivier in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/oliviergirard.ch\/en\/boutique\/the-posture-manual\/\">The Posture Manual<\/a><\/em>: the neck should remain as relaxed as possible, as often as possible.
